Good hair colour is about more than the shade on a colour chart. At Lumé by Trine, the choice of colour starts with your hair and your everyday life: should the colour cover regrowth completely, give shine and depth to your own colour, or simply freshen up the shade with a toner?
Trine works with the whole palette – warm coppers and brunettes, deep dark shades and light tones – and will advise you honestly about what is possible with your hair as it is today. Every colour treatment can be booked with or without a cut, and you can add a Metal-DX treatment alongside the colour to protect the hair during the process.
If you choose a bigger transformation, we are happy to split it into stages so the hair stays healthy along the way – and a colour consultation is always a good place to start if you are unsure.

What does having your hair coloured cost in Copenhagen?
At Lumé by Trine, a full colour costs DKK 899 for short hair and DKK 1,169 for long hair – without a cut. If you choose full colour with a cut, prices start at DKK 1,598. A root colour with toner costs DKK 1,799 without a cut.
What is the difference between full colour, root colour and a toner?
A full colour covers all of the hair and any regrowth, while a root colour covers only the regrowth at the scalp. A toner is gentler and mainly adjusts the shade. Trine will help you choose the right option for your hair.
How often should I have my roots coloured?
It depends on how quickly your hair grows and how much contrast there is between your colour and the regrowth. Many people have a root colour every four to eight weeks – ideally combined with a toner that freshens up the lengths.
Will the colour treatment suit my hair?
We always assess the condition of your hair and any previous treatments before we colour – and you can add a Metal-DX treatment alongside the colour (DKK 99), which helps look after the hair during the process.
What is a colour consultation?
A colour consultation (DKK 259) is a good place to start if you are considering a bigger change or are unsure what your hair can take. Trine will assess your hair and together you will make a plan for the colour before you book the treatment itself.
